Government and defence. The Indian Army, the Indian Navy with a shipboard deployment in August 2026, the BSF, NHM Uttar Pradesh with 200 Health ATMs, the UP Vidhan Sabha, Vidhan Bhavan, Mathura District Hospital, and the Government of West Bengal for employee screening.

The UP deployment is the useful reference point for any government buyer evaluating scale, because 200 Health ATMs under one state mission is a programme rather than a pilot, and it demonstrates the training, service and reporting layer working across a district network.

The process is the same in every state. Only the logistics change.

• Requirement definition. Population, monthly screening volume, setting, and the referral pathway for flagged results. Programmes that skip the referral pathway generate awareness and stop there.
• Site survey. Power, network access, doorway clearance, enclosure and footfall path. Most timeline slippage traces to site readiness rather than manufacturing or freight.
• Configuration and quotation. The parameter set is weighted to the setting, so an occupational and a corporate wellness configuration price differently.
• Manufacture and dispatch. Units are built at Nighoje, Chakan MIDC, Pune. Seasonal-access locations such as Ladakh need order timing worked backwards from route closures.

Two things are worth negotiating rather than accepting as standard. And consumable stocking for locations with seasonal access, agreed at order stage rather than reordered mid-winter.

Manufacturing in India is what makes the service model work. Spares and calibration originate from Nighoje, Chakan MIDC, Pune rather than an overseas supply chain, which is the difference between a part arriving in days and a unit standing idle for a quarter. India’s screening problem is as much a literacy and language problem as a distance problem. The kiosk runs a multilingual touchscreen with audio-visual guidance, so a session completes on voice prompts alone, in the user’s own language, with nobody standing beside the machine.

The unit operates offline, holds 3 to 4 days of battery backup and sits in a rugged metal enclosure, so screening continues through power cuts and dead links, with records syncing when connectivity returns. Live teleconsultation is the one function that needs bandwidth, so remote sites screen continuously offline and schedule consultations into known windows.

Reports are issued by print, SMS, email and WhatsApp. Records can be linked to an ABHA number under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, and referral can run through pathways such as eSanjeevani, so a screening becomes part of a person’s health record rather than a loose printout.
